Magic Brownies

Since I pass out this recipe so much, I decided to add it to my blog. This is what I give pregnant friends as a gift... because if they eat an entire batch, they've eaten a can of garbanzo beans. ;) Great protein and no guilt! And they taste strangely great...


1 (15oz) can garbanzo beans-drained

1/4 cup agave nectar (or any sweetener of choice)

2 eggs

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 and 1/2 cups of carob chips (or chocolate) melted in double boiler


-place all in blender and blend until smooth

-grease small baking pan with canola oil

-bake about 30 minutes at 350 or until pick comes out clean

 (can add up to two more eggs and another 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda for a more cake-like consistency)
