I've grown weary of searching for recipes online, and printing them out and losing them. Or making it once, loving it and then not being able to find the website again (grr...this just happened with some fabulous cornbread!).
So, I'm doing what any technophile would do...starting a blog to store my recipes. They aren't ones I've created or anything. I mean, they might be at some point. But mostly, I steal them. And tweak them, mind you, so it's not completely un-creative.
I love technology.

It's the "My Recipe Box" link on the right, too.
Herein lies my completely chaotic postings about the delights and delirium of family living: Steve, Sarahbeth, and our three little Spazettes. I write about anything that spills out of my brain, so it's not always that interesting. Also note: If you require complete sentences from your authors, this isn't the blog for you. If you're still here after all the disclaimers, welcome to our little section of the world. It's a great place to live and be.

Detective Jack
We drink room-temperature water in our house, almost without exception. But, I happened to have a large bottle of water in the fridge today (random reason). I poured some into a Mason jar to drink, and set it next to me in the living room.
Jack (5) came over and said: "Where did you get that freezing cold water?"
I thought that was odd. "How did you know it was cold?" We don't drink cold water.
"Because. The glass has some water on the outside."
Hmm. He's like Encyclopedia Brown, this kid. When I probed about how he knew about condensation, all he could offer was, "I just know!"
I love.love.love how children explore their world, taking notes at every given moment. You never know when these observations will pop up.
